Galaxy Nutritional Foods Begins Expansion with the Acquisition of the BeeCeuticals Organics Brand
Just a week after announcing Rick Antonelli as its new President and CEO, Galaxy Nutritional Foods, Inc. has entered the personal care products category with the acquisition of the BeeCeuticals Organics brand, a line of natural and organic body care products.
Galaxy Nutritional Foods – specializing in great tasting, plant-based cheese alternatives and organic food products – is now adding the BeeCeuticals brand to its family. BeeCeuticals provides a variety of natural and organic body care products including hair care products, hand and body lotions, and more.
“Natural and organic personal care products are among the fastest growing categories in our industry and we are excited to enter this arena with the BeeCeuticals brand,” said Antonelli. “BeeCeuticals aligns nicely with Galaxy’s mission, as its products are made with high-quality, organic and fair trade ingredients.”
“I couldn’t be happier that the BeeCeuticals brand will live on as part of the Galaxy family,” said Richie Gerber, BeeCeuticals Founder. “Galaxy will continue to provide the products our consumers have come to know and love and will remain in compliance with Organic and Fair Trade certifications.”
Antonelli and Gerber will work together to ensure a seamless merger of BeeCeuticals with the Galaxy family of brands. Current BeeCeuticals phone and fax numbers for order placement and product information will remain the same.
“We have aggressive plans in regards to new BeeCeuticals product roll outs in the future,” explained Antonelli. “My vision upon joining Galaxy was to expand into new categories and this is just the beginning of our bright future.”
