Galaxy Nutritional Foods Adds Chief
Financial Officer to its Executive Team
Galaxy Nutritional Foods, Inc. is continuing its month-long growth period with the addition of Brian O’Farrell to its team as Chief Financial Officer. O’Farrell has extensive experience in finance and operations working both with consumer packaged goods and in mergers and acquisitions.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Brian, with his diverse background to the team,” said Rick Antonelli, CEO and President of Galaxy Nutritional Foods. “His extensive experience with finance, hands-on operations, and mergers and acquisitions is a perfect fit with the strategic growth plans that we are quickly implementing for Galaxy.”
O’Farrell most recently served as the Vice President of Finance at American Power Conversion (APC), the $4 billion IT business unit of French conglomerate, Schneider Electric. Prior to APC, he served as President and CEO of a consumer products start-up company, and led it through its evolution from concept to successful sale of the company.

In his new role, O’Farrell will oversee and be responsible for the finance department, accounting and reporting, IT department, strategic planning, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
